A comprehensive science lab was inaugurated by the Chairman Khan Mohammad Akhteruzzaman at Averroes International School to encourage scientific innovation among the students. The students will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. These labs will have do-it-yourself kits and equipment on science, electronics, robotics, open source micro controller boards, sensors, and computers. AIS is providing classes every week for physics, chemistry, biology and general science. Addressing the gathering, Managing Director & CEO Anisur Rahman Shohag said that young minds will get a chance to work here and understand different aspects of science and technology. We will train our students for regional- and national-level competitions, exhibitions, workshops on problem solving, designing and fabrication of products and will provide practical classes at regular intervals. The Chairman, Secretary and Joint Secretary of Parents’ Council were the special guests of the inauguration ceremony. Students’ representative Fatima Bint Afzal has shown her gratitude to the initiatives of the management and delivered a speech on behalf of the students of AIS. Department Head of Chemistry, Professor Dr. Enamul Haque demonstrated some experiments along with the students of Grade VIII.
