Position: PYP/MYP Coordinator
We are now looking for Primary Years Program and Middle Years Program Coordinators. The successful applicants will be in charge of distributing appropriate IB MYP/PYP communications and updates, as well as guiding and aiding staff in all areas connected to effective IB MYP/PYP teaching and learning. He/she will ensure that students and instructors adhere to the highest standards of Academic Honesty throughout all subjects in the Primary Years Program/Middle Years Programme.
In addition, through regular classroom observations and other kinds of Professional Development, the PYP/MYP Coordinator will actively help teachers in the development of great pedagogical practice. Candidates must have worked with faculty development before, including expatriates. As a result, you must be fluent in English.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the IB PYP/MYP and have a thorough understanding of Primary and Secondary education as well as the school-university transition. She or he must have past PYP/MYP Coordinator experience in home or overseas schools.
Position: PYP/MYP Teacher
We’re also looking for PYP/MYP teachers to help us create an innovative PYP/MYP curriculum in the areas of English: Individuals and Societies, Mathematics: Science, Design, Physical Education, Visual Arts, and Performing Arts. The successful candidates would provide inquiry-based learning experiences for students that are engaging, relevant, challenging, and significant, based on the IB’s beliefs and values and the mission and culture of Averroes International School, Dhaka. Furthermore, the teacher will guarantee that pupils improve as a result of their learning by monitoring progress and, if necessary, creating interventions to maximize each student’s successes.
It is necessary to have prior IB teaching experience. Candidates must have two years of PYP/MYP teaching experience in an international school, as well as a thorough comprehension of and commitment to the International Baccalaureate programs.
