My Dear Colleagues, Families, Parents, and Students,
It is with a great pleasure that I am announcing the hiring of new faculty member Mr. Dr. Md. Enamul Haque who will join our Averroes family from next month. The process of meeting, interviewing, and vetting the candidate has been a wonderful one which involved our vision for the development of our learners and uncovering the knowledge of outstanding merits of our school. This new faculty member will bring his own vibrancy to work for our school. He is fascinated with our rigorous and balanced academics, our commitment, and our working policies.
I would like to share some of his achievements and working experiences with everyone.
He is a professor of Dhaka University of Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. He has accomplished his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK. He was awarded for Dhaka University Merit Scholarship, Commonwealth Scholarship (Phytochemical studies on Bangladeshi Medicinal Plants), Commonwealth Fellowship (Phytochemical and Biological studies on some Medicinal Plants belong to the family Annonaceae and Meliaceae). His Research Grants are Bangladesh Government Research Grant (Isolation, purification, and identification of active principles from the Medicinal Plants of Bangladesh and studies on their biological activities), Bangladesh Government Science research Grant (Search for antimicrobial, cytotoxic and insecticidal agents from Medicinal Plants of Bangladesh belonging to the families Annonaceae and Meliaceae). Before joining here he worked as a teacher for O levels and A levels in Maple Leaf International School, Oxford International School, B.A.F. Shaheen English Medium School, Manarat International School and College, Saint Jude’s International School, Sunnydale School, The New Dhaka School and several others.
This talented new teacher looks forward to become a part of our community and to work with our students. We are delighted to welcome him to The Averroes International School.
