Winter festival & Pithauthsab took place on last 27 January-18 in school building-1.The event started at 9:00 am which was inaugurated by the School inspector of Dhaka region Mrs. Sahara Khanom. Later Mrs. Sahara Khanom visited different stalls in the festival accompanied by Chairman of Averroes International School Mr. Khan Mohammad Akteruzzaman, Head of School Mr. Anisur Rahaman Sohagh and Finance Director Hajji Gulam Mustufa. More than fifty stalls were displayed by the students, guardians & Teachers. Everyone participated in the festival to exhibit and sale their different kinds of products such as pithas & other food items, Garments, toys, handicrafts, electronics and so on. The inspiring event ended at 5:00 PM. The aim of this event was:
To bring together urban and rural craft through presentation of crafts
• To explore our culture to our children
• To support our kids to know about their culture and country
• To promote artistic collaboration and
• To create opportunities for social change
